Great Plains Wolf
This particular breed of wolf is adapted to live in warm to hot climates and therefore can survive in South Fellwood, Bandor and most of Eastern Nordrassil. They are rather small is size, ranging from 20 - 25 inches in height. Additional eye colors, other than the three main colors found in this breed of wolf are orange and grey. It usually features a coat blended with white gray, black, buff/brown, or red with secondary colors of either red or orange, meaning the breed does not support pure colored coats.
The special feature which sets this breed apart from the others is the fact that they are resistant to starvation and heat exhaustion for up to 2 months, a feature which played a large role in their adapting to heated climats. The soles of their feet are protected from the hot sands and surfaces by thick fur. Their coat has the ability repel sunlight during the day and conserve heat at night when the temperature plummets.
Black Timber Wolf
This breed of wolf can survive in both cold and average temperature climates, meaning that here in Arvandor they are found in Ashenvale, Nordrassil and North Fellwood. Their size is rather average, perhaps a bit on the small side depending on the wolf, ranging from 22 - 27 inches in height. The additional eye colors for this breed are gold, silver and blue. They are can be found to be either black or grey with secondary colors of either green, gold, blue or white.
This breed of wolf is unique in the aspect that their coat color changes with the season. It is lighter in the winter (if black is main it becomes more of a dark grey and if grey is main it becomes a lighter grey). In the summer their coats darken (if black is main the lighter parts of the coat will darken and if grey is main then black will be seen throughout the coat). The breeds claws are wider than others, and have more muscular paws, giving them the ability to dig faster and deeper than other breeds.

Mackenzie Valley Wolf
Mackenzie Valley Wolves typically stand about 32 - 40 inches at the shoulder and are adapted to the climates of Ashenvale, Easten and western Nordrassil and North Fellwood. The breed usually dispays one of the 3 common eye colors but can support blue and orange eyes. Their coats can be white, black, grey or silver and can have secondary colors of gold, blue or orange.
The Mackenzie Valley Wolf has a specialized body that has made it one of the world's most efficient hunters. Its thick, long limbs are proportionally built for traversing through rough terrain. It's deep chest hosts large lungs, letting the wolf breathe more efficiently at higher altitudes, and allowing it to exert huge amounts of stamina. It's powerful neck is a very important adaptation: it has to be strong to support the wolf's large head and is crucial for bringing down prey. The Mackenzie Valley Wolf has been found to have a much higher pain threshold than other breeds; this is it's special feature.
Russian Wolf
Russians are found in many areas throughout Arvandor: North & South Fellwood, Ashenvale and Eastern & western Nordrassil. They are a fairly large breed whose heights range between 30 and 37 inches. The additional eye colors along with the 3 natural ones are gold, silver and bronze. The main coat colors for Russians are grey, brown, red and black. The secondary coat colors for this breed are white, gold and red.
Setting them apart from all other breeds of wolf is the fact that their fur grows or sheds depending on the environment they are situated in. In hotter climates, their fur will become less dense and shorter (will shed). In colder climates, their fur thickens and grows longer to provide them with more warmth. This breed of wolf often has trouble reproducing and when they do their litters are small, this is thought to be due to the agreesiveness of the breed, they have a quick temper and are more likely to strike out than others. The Russian has a shorter legs to compensate for stockier bodies, they are built for the fight and are great warriors.
Tundra Wolf
A breed that is more adapted to colder regions, these wolves can live in Ashenvale, Heleg Plateau, Western Nordrassil and North Fellwood. They are a small/meidum sized wolf whose height is from 23 - 35 inches. Their additional eye colors are blue and silver. Tundra coats can be white, grey or brown with secondary coats of blue, green or gold.
When feeling a strong emotion, areas of their coats change color. If the wolf is pure in color it will simply become tinged with a color to correspond to the mood whereas if the wolf had definate markings the color will just effect those. Their legs are usually a little longer and leaner than the other breeds to avoid high snow and this allows for greater speeds, so the Tundra is well adapted to chasing faster larger prey. They also have larger muscles along their back that aids in accelleration.
Blood Wolf
These wolves can survive Almost anywhere in Arvandor. They are adapted to the climates of South Fellwood, Ashenvale, Eastern & Western Nordrassil and North Fellwood. This breed ranges in size greatly- the smallest being 20 inches in height and the largest having heights of 29 inches. Their eye colors are naturally blood red but can be, in rare cases: grey, silver and black. Their coats are either black or red with secondary layers of red.
When on the brink of death, this breed of wolf often becomes much stronger then they ever thought they possibly could. Blood wolves, however, cannot love. This makes them brilliant rouges, they would prefer not to remain in packs, especially not with other breeds. They are proud of their breed and tend to look down apon the others.
Novac Wolf
This a breed of wolf that cannot thrive in colder climates. They are found in South Fellwood, Bandor, North Fellwood and Nordrassil. Their size ranges greatly depending on the wolf- from 20 - 31 inches in height. Extra eye colors for this breed are blue and orange. Their coats are either brown or black with secondary colors of blue.
Novac wolves can see in the dark, due to the fact they are nocturnal. This however makes them find it hard to cope during the day. Novac wolf maximizes heat retention through such methods as using its bushy tail to cover its exposed nose during cold periods. The wolf is predominanty a solitary hunter, perfering small creatures of the night.
Canadian Wolf
These wolves cannot live in extreme climates whether they are hot or cold. In Arvandor they are adapted to the regions of North Fellwood, Eastern and Western Nordrassil. This breed of wolf has the greatest range in height. The smallest among them are smaller than almost any other wolf with heights as low as 18 inches. The largest are quite big even compared to other big with heights of 30 inches. The only additional eye color for the Canadian wolf is gold. They come in white, brown grey and black with secondary coat layers of gold.
Every Canadian wolf has a darker patch of fur that runs along their back, this makes them recoginsable.
Thespian Wolf
These wolves cannot stand cold climates. They are adapted to Nordrassil, North and South Fellwood and Bandor here in Arvandor. Their heights range from 20 - 28 inches. They have no additional eye colors, and so can only be found with the natural eye colors. Their coats are either white, grey, brown, red or black with secondary colors of green.
The eye colors of these wolves changes depending on the mood this wolf is in.
Valasse Wolf
A Valasse wolf is a 'mixed' or 'crossed' breed, meaning their parents are either Valasse themselves or of different breeds then the other. Valasse wolves may posses any characteristic of the parents.
Note; As well as the secondary coat colors listed in each breed description, any breed of wolf may also use one of the listed main coat colors as a secondary coat color. The three natural eye colors for most breeds are; Green, Yellow and Brown.
